A zebra with zebra eyes dived into a water hole to drink, but was grabbed by a crocodile and refused to let go. Will the zebra escape the grip of the crocodile king?
This item is located between Camp Orpen and Camp Satara in Kruger National Park. We approached a small waterhole, the zebras were making their way down to drink water.
The zebra started drinking and within 30 seconds a crocodile jumped out of the water and grabbed the zebra’s jaws. A somersault and the fish pulled the zebra into the water.
The zebra stood firm and continued to fight, eventually pulling the fish out of the water. Finally, the zebra broke free from the crocodile’s encirclement and fled with its herd.
Luckily for the zebra, it got to live another day. It was an astonishing sight, in every sense, and very rare.
